Deanna June Pinkerton, 85, of Largo, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025. She was born on June 10th, 1939, in Buchanan, Michigan, to Charles and Bernice (Bristol) Rollf.
Deanna was the beloved wife of Walter Pinkerton, whom she married on February 2, 1957, and they shared 68 years of marriage together. She is survived by her husband, Walter Pinkerton, daughter, Denise Abero (Melvin Abero), son, Daniel Pinkerton, and her brothers, Russell Rollf and Floyd Rollf. Deanna was preceded in death by her seven sisters, as well as her parents, Charles and Bernice Rollf.
Deanna worked for many years in clothing production at Simplicity Pattern Company, and was a proud member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion. She was a woman of strong spirit and kind heart.
Outside of her professional life, Deanna enjoyed spending time with her friends, playing bingo, and relaxing with solitaire. Her greatest joy came from raising her family, and she took immense pride in being a mother, nurturing and loving her children with unwavering devotion. She will be remembered as a wonderful person whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone she knew.
A service to honor Deanna’s life will be held at a later date in Buchanan, Michigan.
Deanna’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed.
