Joseph always dreamed of becoming a father, and he fulfilled this dream after meeting his loving and devoted wife, Kristine. They married in 2012 and were married for 12 years.
As a father, Joe showed how selfless love can be. He was a man who knew no limits when it came to his only child Connor Lanigan, and his two step children Rylan and Skyler Silva. Joseph was also a loving son to George and Marie Lanigan.

Joseph was a kind man with a heart of gold. He would give the shirt off his back to any friend. Joe was a great story teller, and could always make you laugh. He had a soft spot for animals, and was a huge New York Yankee and Jets fan.
A celebration of life will be held for Joseph at Saint Thomas Moore Church. Breezy Point New York.
In lieu of flowers, a college savings account is being set up for his son Connor Lanigan. For more information please contact: Kristine Lanigan at Lanigan903@gmail.com

Donna and Greg Kingsley
Kristine – I’m so sorry for your loss. We have only known each other a short time but I find comfort in our friendship and I hope you do as well. I didn’t know Joe but I have gotten to know him through stories you have told me. I wish you the best and am here whenever you need to talk.
Kristine, my heart is broken for you. Please live your life the fullest, live for Joe too! Anytime you need a listener, I’m here for you!
Krissy so sorry to hear of the passing of your husbsnd Joe. So sad. Your son Connor must be heartbroken along with Skyler and Rylan who I’m sure were just loved by him too. Think about all the good times you had together and hopefully that grief will turn to only great memories. Just know David and I are thinking of you and your family. Special hugs to all. Denise
