Jason Nels Frederick passed away unexpectedly on April 27, 2024 in Largo, FL. He was only 47 years old. His family is deeply saddened by his sudden death.
The weather was a blizzard with below 15 degrees and very strong winds when Jason was born on December 2,1976. He was rushed to Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital and born to Richard and Devonna.
Jason or Big Jay, as he was affectionately known, grew up in Michigan before moving to Florida. Here he graduated from Largo High School in 1995. He was involved in football and wrestling in school and loved playing basketball with everyone at home. His favorite passion was listening to music and attending concerts with friends. He worked as a security guard, boom operator, production worker and finally a landscaper.
Jason is survived by Father Richard Frederick and Step Mother Gerilyn Frederick of Largo, FL; Uncle Bill Frederick of Arcadia, MI; Sister Jessica Shakinas and husband Eric Shakinas of Irons, MI; Sister Jolene Frederick and her boyfriend Adam Lester of Largo, FL.
He was preceded in death by Mother Devonna Frederick; Sister Julie Frederick; Niece Hayley Shakinas; Aunt Ruth Frederick; and Aunt Sue Frederick.
Everyone who knew Jason would agree that he was the sweetest, kindest, most caring soul in the world. He will be remembered as an amazing and loving son, brother, and friend to all. Jason will truly be missed and will never, ever be forgotten.
