Larry D. Fray, Sr., born on November 11, 1950, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2024, in St. Petersburg, Florida. He leaves behind a legacy of love and music, cherished by his family and friends.
Larry is survived by his devoted wife, Elizabeth and his beloved children: Jeremy, Andrea, J.R., Angela, and Matthew. His stepchildren: Elizabeth, Clarissa, Leslie. Carlos, and Gregory. He also leaves behind several grandchildren and great grand children along with his favorite son-in-law, Marcelo. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, whose memory he honored throughout his life.
A man of deep faith, Larry found joy in his relationship with the Lord, a passion he expressed through his music. Known for his love of guitars, Larry owned 17 and was rarely seen without at least two or three by his side. His music was a testament to his spirit, and those who knew him can imagine him now playing for the angels.
Larry’s life will be celebrated at a memorial service held at The Worship Center 3900 5th Avenue N, St. Petersburg, Florida: on December 9th at 5 p.m. His family invites all who knew him to join in remembering a life well-lived and a man well-loved.
In this time of mourning, we find solace in the memories of Larry’s laughter, his music, and the love he shared with those around him. His legacy will continue to resonate in the hearts of his family and friends, a testament to a life filled with passion and devotion.
