Neida Cruz Morado, age 75, of Bronson, FL, passed away on February 12, 2025, in Gainesville, FL. She was born on May 25, 1949, in Juncos, Puerto Rico, to Concepcion Cruz Cuevas and Sixto Cruz Mojica.

Neida was a woman of great passion and spirit, known for her vibrant personality and dedication to her work. She became a licensed cosmetologist in 1967 and went on to work in various salons, later sharing her knowledge and expertise as a professor of cosmetology in Miami. Neida was immensely proud of her work as a hairdresser, where she made a lasting impact on many lives. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Clearwater, FL, where she found solace and community.

In her personal life, Neida was an avid dancer, a talented cook, and enjoyed arts and crafts. She was known for her loving, caring, and nurturing nature, always ready to help others. Neida was outspoken and determined, yet kind-hearted and available whenever needed. A gregarious soul, she lived life with a joy that was felt by everyone around her.

Neida lived in several places throughout her life, including Juncos, Puerto Rico, Chicago, Illinois, Miami, Florida, Broward County, Florida, and Clearwater, Florida. She is survived by her sister, Porfiria Rivera; her brother, Edwin Cruz, and her beloved daughter, Nanette Fumero.

A Catholic Mass will be held in her honor on March 8, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Saint Michael the Archangel Church, 2281 State Road 580, Clearwater, Florida 33763.

Neida will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering spirit. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
