Sandra Lee Deal, age 81, of Seminole, Florida went to her heavenly home on Friday,
February 18, 2022. Sandi was born December 29, 1940, in Magee, MS to the late Hoke
and Etta Lee Ambrose. She married Thomas Deal on August 13, 1959 at First Baptist
Church, Hobbs, NM. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.
She enjoyed music, reading, walking on the beach and beach sunsets. She was a
member of the United Methodist Church, and in her younger days people were blessed
by her beautiful alto voice and servant heart.
Though her physical presence will be forever missed, she will continue to be a bright
light in the lives of all she touched. Her laughter and joy filled a room.
We will now feel her arms around us at every sunset, in the gentle kiss of a summer
breeze, and in every tear we shed. Echoes in the wind will bring beautiful memories of
love and laughter shared.
What makes her marriage to Tommy unique: The 62-year marriage to the love of her
life, who she declared in kindergarten was the “cutest boy and would be her boyfriend.”
Their story and life are an example to everyone of a love and devotion that rings into
eternity.
She joins her parents in heaven. Cherishing her memory are her husband of 62 years,
Tommy, son, Skip, daughter, Carrie Lee Gissiner, sister, Jara Ambrose, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Southwest Indian Foundation: https://
www.southwestindian.com/foundation/projects/.
Services to be held at Best Care Cremation March 2nd, 2022 at 1:00PM.
Reception to follow at family home at 4:00PM at 11492 87th Avenue, Seminole FL 33772.

The Deal’s have been treasured friends & neighbors for as long as I can remember. Throughout my life Mr. & Mrs. Deal were role models for me as to what a loving relationship looked like. When my parents moved away, they became my surrogate parents. Mrs. Deal give me my passion for music and in later years became a fierce prayer warrior. The Austin family was blessed to have her in our lives for as long as we did. To Mr. Deal, Skip, Carrie Lee and all the family- no words., they’ve all been said and you know my To Mr. Deal, Skip, Carrie Lee and all the family- no words, they’ve all been said and you know my heart.
